In "Leapin' Leech," you must guide the leech through a tricky level filled with perilous obstacles and strategic platforming puzzles. The key to success lies in utilizing the jump pads scattered throughout the bottle. These bouncy platforms will launch the leech high into the air, allowing it to reach new heights and ascend towards its goal.

But beware! Time is not on your side. As the leech climbs, it steadily loses life due to the pressure cause by the impending storm, and if its health depletes entirely, it's game over. To combat this, the leech has a unique way of replenishing its vitality: blood rain. Strange phenomena occur in this confined bottle, causing blood to pour from the sky. The leech must swiftly slurp up the falling blood droplets to regain health, making this an essential aspect of survival. Timing is crucial, as the leech must balance its ascent with the need to replenish its life force.

Game Instructions

- Use the WASD keys to move the leech in different directions

- Use the red bounce pads to move upwards

- Health is lost every 2 seconds

- The amount of health you have is directly tied to the length of your body

- Gain more health by drinking blood from the sky

- Win the game if you hit the bell at the top

- Lose the game running out of cells on your body

This game is based of the Tempest Prognosticator. 

A tempest prognosticator, also known as a leech barometer, is a unique weather forecasting device invented by George Merryweather in the 19th century. It consists of a series of glass jars housing leeches, each connected to a small bell. The device operates on the belief that leeches are highly sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure, causing them to become restless and climb out of their jars. As the leeches move, they disturb the delicate balance of the attached bells, creating an audible warning of an approaching storm. Bells were used in conjunction with the leeches to provide a clear and immediate indication of atmospheric disturbances, enabling observers to be alerted to potential inclement weather conditions in advance.
